Synopsis
30 years later, Mr. Manuel Muñoz and Ms. Rosa Muñoz are finally getting the long dreamed green card. But there are things not worth of being celebrated, their son belongs to a gang, their older daugther got pregnant at age 15, she has 2 childrenand gets state aid; Jackie the younger of the girls thinks that marrying a wealthy American is the solution to all her problems; Meño the younger son has an above average grade but doesn't know if he will get the financial aid he needs to enter college. And Chendo, an illigitimate son of Don Manuel, works as a mechanic in order to help his family. Thanks to a twist of fate and a book written by Laura a god-daughter of Don Manuel, The Muñoz will be able to finally achieve the "American Dream".
